Seeking PDF to EDI Conversion Tool Compatible with Microsoft BC for Limited Clientele

Post by Sean165 »

Hello everyone,
I'm currently exploring options for a tool or software that can efficiently convert PDF documents to the EDI format. The key requirement is that this solution must integrate seamlessly with Microsoft Business Central (BC).
Our use case is quite specific: we only need to cater to a small group of our clients, approximately five, who don't have their own EDI capabilities. I'm looking for a solution that is not only effective but also straightforward to implement for this small subset of clients.
Does anyone have experience with tools or software that can fulfill these requirements? Any recommendations or insights, especially from those who have navigated a similar situation, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Oh totally, if you're lookin for something to get your PDFs to EDI and make it work with Microsoft BC, especially for just a few clients, you might wanna check out ChimpKey. It's real good at changing PDFs to different formats, EDI included. It's mostly about converting stuff, but you can tweak it for what you need. Getting it to fit with Microsoft BC might need a bit of extra work, maybe another tool or something, but you should be able to do it. The cool thing is, ChimpKey is pretty easy to use and they got good customer service too, so if you get stuck they'll help you out. Plus, it can handle more work if you end up needing it to. Seems like a solid choice for what you're after.
